Enrolment at OLMC is aligned with the Archdiocese of Sydney Enrolment Policy.
ENROLMENT PRIORITIES ENROLMENT POLICY (short version) The Archdiocesan Enrolment Policy gives preference for enrolment according to the following guidelines:
- Active Catholic families from the Parish;
- Active Catholic families from other parishes who for special needs seek enrolment;
- Catholic families from the Parish;
- Catholic families from other Parishes again who for special reasons seek enrolment;
- Other Christian denominations; and
- Other Religions.
Once the official enrolment period closes 30 May each year no guarantee of enrolment of siblings (brothers and sisters) will be provided if formal application has NOT been lodged. (Due to Government and System restrictions we are not always able to accept overseas students)
Our Lady of Mt Carmel is now accepting enrolments for Kindergarten and for other grades for the 2009 school year. The school has adopted a generic enrolment application form established by the Archdiocese of Sydney. Enrolment forms may be accessed in three ways:
- Make a request for an enrolment application form in person from the school office.
- Contact the Enrolment Secretary by phone requesting a form be sent to you by post.
- Access the enrolment form from the school website: www.olmcmtpritchard.catholic.edu.au
Parents may access a version of the Enrolment requirements as well as the current Parent Handbook from this website. An Information & Enrolment package will be available to enrolling families after a placement position has been offered to the family. Information will be regularly updated on the website as it becomes available. You may e-mail the school at

Agreement Documentation In 2008, the Enrolment period begins at the opening of Catholic Schools Week -31st March-4th April. The Kinder Enrolment period for 2009 lasts from March to May 2008. Family interviews will be negotiated from May and June.
Parents are requested to make application for enrolment at Our Lady of Mt Carmel as soon as possible.
Please Note:
The Archdiocese of Sydney enrolment period closes at the end of May. To be eligible to start school your child must turn 5 years of age by July 31st in the year they start school.
Some children who turn 5 yrs old in the June or July and even sometimes the May may benefit from another year to mature and develop in their readiness for school.
It is HIGHLY preferable that your child has attended a reputable Pre-School for a period of time.
It is preferable for you to be a practising Catholic, living in the Mt Pritchard Parish area.
